Suspicious Fires

Over the past four months the Village of Little Chute has experienced several suspicious garage fires. These fires have caused significant structural damage and have resulted in tens of thousands of dollars in lost property. There have been no reported injuries as a result or these fires. The possibility that these fires are being intentionally set can not be ruled out.

The Fox Valley Metro Police Department is encouraging all residents to remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious activity. Furthermore, residents should take basic safety precautions such as locking exterior doors to garages and homes as well as illuminating their property during the hours of darkness.

Suspicious activity can be reported by contacting the Fox Valley Metro Police at (920)788-7505. Anyone wishing to report specific information regarding these incidents should request to speak directly with an Investigator.

Inquiries from the media should be directed to:

Lt. Raymond Lee

Investigations Supervisor
