Kimberly or Little Chute, you may be receiving a post card in the mail like
the one shown below.

This simply means that an
Officer on patrol observed a crime prevention concern at your residence.
Crime prevention is
important to us at the Fox Valley Metro Police
Department. After all, if we can prevent crime,
it not only frees up our resources to be used elsewhere, but more
importantly our citizens, who have played an active role in prevention, can
feel safer in their community. We recently started a new program that should
help prevent crime. We developed a post card that will be sent to homeowners
when Officers see potential crime targets or things that could jeopardize
someone's safety. The post card simply gives notice to the homeowner of an
observed weakness. It is then up to the homeowner if they care to change the
identified weakness or not. We hope that by working together, we will reduce
neighborhood crime and make our community safer.
