Cellular phone loan out
| Fox Valley Metro Police
Department has two cellular phones that are
manufactured to make out going phone calls only. In fact, the only number
they can reach is to a 911 emergency telephone operator. We lend the phones
out to individuals who have a reason to believe that they may need emergency
assistance. There are many reasons for needing a telephone. Two examples
are a citizen with a pending medical emergency, or for a person concerned
about being stalked. By having the cellular phones, the individuals maintain
their freedom and are able to go about their daily activities. |
